This is based on the well-known Woodie Cars that originated in the USA mid-1930s and were based on the early practice of making the passenger compartment of a vehicle in hardwood.

They proved hugely popular with many different variations being seen all over the world through the years.

In fact, right up until the 1990’s Ford, GM and Chrysler still offered various designs of the Woodie Car with simulated wood panels.

And now, the designs have even been turned into novelty drink coolers to compete with surfboards for all those cool dudes out there.

The shape and look of the original Woodie Car design are captured perfectly even down to the detail in the windows wheels and headlights.

And at nearly one and a half metres long it can hold plenty of drinks and ice.

The Woodie Vintage Cooler is perfectly suited to commercially themed premises to add a bit of style and panache that offers a talking point with the clientele – there’s even a bottle opener on the back.

Obviously, the wheels turn so it can be moved around at will and there’s also a drainage plug inside the drinks compartment.

The tough, lacquered finish makes it easy to maintain and great for regular use outside all year round.

A trip down memory lane for the more mature and good clean fun at the same time.
