The integrity of the smooth finish on the table top is preserved using a technique called ‘patching’ – where thin pieces of reclaimed timber are pre-cut by hand and expertly applied to areas of the grain that were more deeply cut in the reclaiming process.

This process requires skill to perfect and adds to the unique quality of the table.

Mortice and tenon joints offer a superior finish and long lasting quality to the dining set. To preserve the integrity of the teak and strengthen the joints themselves teak dowels are used as well.  

The 6 beautiful Willow Rattan Chairs are designed with comfort in mind they have angled backs and shaped flat arms. The synthetic rattan weave is hand woven round a rust free, solid aluminium frame.

Toughened plastic is used to cap the feet here.

Reclaimed Teak:

This makes for a Dining Table that has rustic appeal – particularly where the black wash highlights the grain.

This also has the added benefit of giving further protection against the elements when used outdoors.

Reclaimed Teak is an environmentally friendly alternative to newer teak.

Timber does not have to be harvested from the forest here and this, in turn, reduces deforestation.

The Rattan Chairs:

Manufactured to look and feel like natural rattan.

A cinch to clean down; do individual areas with a damp cloth or wash the whole thing down with the garden hose.

It has a high resistance to water and extremes of temperature making it perfect for use outside all year round.

UV and colour stabilised for that non-fade quality.

These high quality grades of synthetic rattan are do not split or crack over time.

Olefin fabrics:

Olefin fibres are well known for offering the highest quality specifications for outdoor use.

Raw materials used are 100% recyclable with little or no waste produced in production.

They have a massive resistance to abrasion, chemical attack, staining and mildew.

UV stabilisers mean they block 96% of the sun’s harmful rays and solution dying means they don’t fade easily.

Thermal bonding of the fibres makes them tough even when wet.

Low moisture absorption means they dry super quickly.
