A very quirky take on a farmyard theme.

It’s difficult to believe these life-like designs come entirely from recycled, 44-gallon shipping drums but it does.

Right down to the curved beak and super-detailed plumes in different colours.

All three Rogers will be happy indoors or out.

The shipping drums they’re made of are designed to withstand the harshest of nautical weather – characteristics that transfer into the completed designs perfectly.

 And their silent craw won’t disturb the neighbours sleep either, unlike their real-life counterparts …

What’s the background to these Rooster Ornaments?

They’re the brainchild of an Australian jewellery maker – Aaron Jackson.

His company now have a huge collection of very unique designs based on a variety of different themes.

Once the prototypes have been drawn they’re taken to purpose-built studios in Vietnam where they’re mass-produced by hand using skilled crafts-people who are trained specifically in metal working.

This offers regular income to local villagers overseas and increases their quality of livelihood.
