However, it’s just as suitable for domestic settings as well with the lovely scrolled arms and ornate corner pieces that work so well together in the whole.

It’s chunky aspect – something that all good benches need – give it a steadfast, long lasting feel that is unmatched in other models on the market today.

At 1.3 metres in length three people will sit comfortably and the finish on the timber along with the rounded curves mean there’s no need for a cushion.

The finest quality A Grade Teak wood is lovingly hand-crafted to exact specifications offering unique beauty every time.

And our suppliers don’t use bolts – mainly because they compromise the timber and tend to develop that shameful and disappointing ‘wobble’ over time.

Instead we insist on mortice and tenon joints reinforced with teak dowels for the ultimate in long lasting strength and fitness for purpose.

And the positive feedback we consistently receive about our Richmond’s seems to agree with this philosophy.

It is also a well known fact that teak is quite simply the best wood for outdoor furniture due to its natural resistance to the elements without cracking or splitting.

Over time it simply assumes the lovely, silver-grey patina that we all know and love in this timber.

For cosmetic purposes the wood can be restored to its original honey coloured hue either with mild soap and water or by using our range of Teak Care Products.
