Montana – The Details …

This suite is unique and a pioneer in its field.

The weave is synthetic and developed to look like natural Water Hyacinth – in line with the recent rise in popularity for this sort of furniture largely indoors.

The strands are 8mm thick and finished to look exactly like natural water hyacinth. However, because it’s synthetic it is UV stabilised and virtually maintenance-free so it won’t fade and get irreversibly soiled over time.

It is also hand-woven – this is a skill undertaken by time-served crafts people overseas whose skills are unmatched and passed down through generations.

The technique used is similar to that used with traditional cane weaves where thinner, strand-fibers are used to support the main weave itself to give added strength and a tighter knit whole that will last for years.

This is woven around a sturdy, reinforced aluminium frame – the detail of this can be seen in the featured picture.

Just as impressive on the inside as it is on the out.

The feet are made of teak wood with two, strengthened plastic caps on each to protect the furniture and the surface it sits on.

All sofas and chairs have ‘no-sag’ seating that compliments the chunky Olefin or 100% Waterproof Cushions perfectly.

In fact, the whole thing is chunky in nature, to the point where you’ll feel like royalty with your arms laid out on the wide arms settling into the deep seat wells surrounded by sumptuous cushions.

Our cushion boxes provide the perfect solution. Woven from the same weave they have the same sturdy aluminium frame and are lined for complete water-proofing.

Not only do they solve the problem of cushion storage, they also look good and offer a practical area for storage as well.

Please Note – Our Montana Range is offered with two cushion types as per the picture detail above. Standard Outdoor Cushions do absorb water but dry very quickly through a resin-fibre sandwich filling. Waterproof Outdoor Cushions are 100% water resistant with a UPVC inner lining and inner protective bag for the filling itself.
