The Australian jewellery-maker responsible for the design has the VW off to a,T.’ Even down to the funky wheels, wiper blades and number plate.

The wheels are solid rubber, by the way, so you won’t need a puncture repair kit if you happen to get a little over-enthusiastic with the plantings.

The individual pieces are hand-cut from recycled, 44-gallon shipping drums by specially trained, local crafts-people in purpose built units in Vietnam.

This passes valuable and sustainable income and skills onto local villagers whilst at the same time offers you the chance to own some of the most unique and sustainable outdoor planters on the market today.

Even the windows are made of specially cut and finished oil drums
