Our Carnglaze products do need to be covered in the winter due to the risk of harsh weather conditions causing damage. 

The name speaks for itself here in that the terracotta tiling has been intentionally made to look like genuine slate tiling in a very unique and eye catching design.

We source our furniture from Sacred Earth who are well renowned for producing some of the best mosaic furniture on the market today. Largely because they use very specific hand finished manufacturing processes.

• Beehive Kilns are used to fire the terracotta tiles for 30-40 days.

• Wooden moulds are then used to shape the tiles with ‘wire and cut’ methods to a uniform shape.

• The finished tiles are laid out by hand on a pre-drawn template after being cut to size.

• Wire mesh and encaustic cement is then used to fix the pattern being made.

• to complete the design a high quality Penetrating Glaze, (matt finish), or Weather Glaze, (glossy finish), is evenly applied.

• The whole thing is then sunk into the galvanised and powder-coated tubular steel frame to complete the finished article.

• They’re simple to maintain with a quick wipe over every now and again.

• The cushions are specifically made for outdoor use with a resin fibre sandwich and low moisture uptake. They can also be tied to the frames themselves.

• All frames will remain rust free with exposure to the elements and the bistro set is very lightweight making it a cinch to move.

• The chairs are stackable making them easy to store.

• Tough caps are fitted to all feet for the ultimate protection with regular use.
